Cucumber’s crush

Ever wonder what the result would be if the humble cucumber had a crush on the snobbish grape? Hmm…perhaps it would be this super healthful drink which is just perfect for the Indian summers. Health benefits apart, trust me, this one makes for a super tasty beverage.

CUCUMBER’S CRUSH

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3 plump cucumbers with skin, chopped
  2. 2 cups green grapes/ around 250 gms
  3. 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves, chopped
  4. ½ tsp pepper powder
  5. ¼ tsp black rock salt
  6. ¼ tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  7. 2 tsp sugar (or according to taste and sourness of the grapes)

METHOD

  1. Blitz the cucumber, grapes, mint, chilli flakes and sugar together in a blender.
  2. Strain the pulp and add the salt and pepper.
  3. Serve fresh and chilled
