Tired of your smoothies and breakfast yogurts but still looking for something to kick start you say? Well, look no further. Try this super delicious breakfast drink that is chock-full of energy.

MAGENTA MELEE

(pomegranate and grape juice)

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3 cups pomegranate seeds
  2. 3 cups black grapes
  3. 2 tsp sugar (optional)
  4. 2-3 slivers of fresh ginger
  5. 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
  6. 1/4 tsp Black Rock salt
  7. 1/4 tsp  pepper powder
  8. 1 tsp lime juice
  9. 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder (optional)
  10. 1 tsp freshly chopped mint leaves (optional)

 

METHOD

  1. blitz the fruits and ginger together and add the pepper, salt, sugar, chilli flakes and lime juice.
  2. add the cumin (only of you like the taste)
  3. garnish with the mint leaves (optional)
